Well, i’m into cars no doubt, or at least machines on wheels that comes with high powered engines that gives real Gs.
Did and done with, those were hobbies from the past, or temporarily put into hibernation. As hobbies in cars are never cheap, more to say as an enthusiasts where power is never enough.
Recently, I found myself a new hobby. Let’s see it involves wheels, yep there’s two pedals, an all aluminium frame, nice set of dampers….and it’s a…….. BIKE. *haha*
Yep, trying to catch up with some youth activities, as age catches up and exercise are getting important. Not to overlook the fun factor.
No I didn’t get any Penny-Farting, instead I’ve gotten myself a ALL-Mountain Ready bike. Would easily be the most expensive bike I’ve acquired in my life.
Nothing exclusive, but simply it’s made and equipped with quality, nothing but a value for money price tag for a good set of specs.
The bike would be my 2011 version of the Kona Cinder Cone.
You can find out more about the specs here.
My buddy Alex, would be the sole preparatory in this sudden act of new hobby of mine. He used to be a car nut like myself, before indulging into biking, Down Hill Biking in precise.
He has helped introduced me to the right shop, TSCycle.com, then picking the right bike and so forth.
Hmm, well for starters I’m just checking out terrains around my place, mostly tarmac with some fine gravel.
Am waiting for the right opportunity to join Alex, for some real trail experience.
Also, to note there’s couple of online biking communities in the region, if you are into biking as well:
