A great product/idea is often delivered from the brilliance of it’s designer, at some cases, designers.
Aesthetics or Functional, if it’s designed right, it’ll often set the benchmark or directions of all future alike products to come.
And clearly we can see plenty of examples in our everyday lives.
Here are some examples:
The iDevices, with the iOS being one of the best OS(s) for mobile and communication, providing most functions users ever needed with virtually zero lag in application response.
The Volkswagen Beetle, designed and made in the 1930s, and it still looks unmistakably great.
With new Beetle still holds its ancestral design traits, what is there more to be said.
Yep, the Facebook, not a physical product, but an online product/service that strike it big, connecting ppl, foster communications, build relationships and even business works out on it. It’s so well done, that even other online giants felt threatened.
Seeing all these great live design /idea examples, it only makes us think, what the design success actually is. Not awards, nor recognition, but building a benchmark that will last and directions others would want to follow.
